What is CBD oil?

CBD stands for cannabidiol. It is one of more than 100 naturally occurring compounds found in industrial hemp plants called cannabinoids. CBD has been found to have a beneficial impact on our health and well-being.

What does PCR hemp oil mean, and why is it important?

PCR stands for phytocannabinoid rich. All of our products are 0.0% THC phytocannabinoid rich, meaning they contain all cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids found in hemp, except delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). By including this broad spectrum of compounds, we harness the beneficial properties of each cannabinoid, not just CBD, without any psychoactive effect. PCR hemp oil is highly bioavailable, meaning it’s easily absorbed and used by the body.

Are CBD and hemp legal?

Yes! With the signing of the 2018 Farm Bill, hemp is now “deemed a legal agricultural commodity, and popular products such as hemp-derived cannabidiol (CBD) can no longer be mistaken as controlled substances, like marijuana.” (U.S. Hemp Roundtable, December 20, 2018)

Will CBD USA Grown products make me high?

No! Our products contain 0.0% THC – there are no psychoactive effects from any of our products.

Will CBD USA Grown products cause me to fail a drug test?

Drug tests will detect the THC compound (delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol). Our products are created with proprietary technology that allows for complete removal of THC. Every product we create contains 0.0% THC. We stand by the quality and consistency of our products, and our Certificates of Analysis are always available to our customers: https://cbdusagrown.com/certificates-of-analysis.

Why should I use PCR hemp oil?

There are many potential benefits of PCR hemp oil, including overall wellness, anxiety relief and pain management. Research into the possible medical uses for CBD and PCR hemp oil is ongoing, and we recommend that you learn about these products and discuss them with your doctor before beginning a new regimen.

How do I use PCR hemp oil?

Depending on your reason for using a PCR hemp oil product, there are several different applications available.
Softgels: Taken orally, such as a vitamin or supplement

Tinctures: Taken sublingually, drops are held under the tongue for a short period of time until they are absorbed

Balms & Creams: Applied topically, these analgesics absorb quickly into the skin

We also have bottled water, cosmetic face masks and animal health products.

How do I know what dosage is right for me?

When it comes to CBD and PCR hemp oil products, there isn’t a universal “correct” dose. Everyone is different, and there are several factors that will affect absorption and effectiveness, including the concentration of CBD, the severity of the condition being treated, weight, diet, metabolism, genetics and more. Another variable to consider – what is the product being used for? A wellness dose could be different than a dose taken for management of chronic pain. We recommend beginning with the minimal suggested dosage on any product and gradually increasing the dose until the desired effects are achieved.

CBD USA Grown’s products are labeled as Broad Spectrum…

Broad spectrum vs. Full spectrum vs. CBD isolate – what does it all mean?

Let’s take a look…

  • Broad spectrum: Broad-spectrum products contain the CBD compound, plus additional cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids. Broad-spectrum products specifically do not contain THC
  •  Full spectrum: Full-spectrum products contain every cannabinoid present in the cannabis plant, including THC.
  • CBD isolate: These products have been isolated down to just the CBD molecule. There are no other cannabinoids, terpenes or flavonoids present.

How do CBD & PCR hemp oil help me?

Recent research has shown that the endocannabinoid system (ECS) plays a crucial role in regulating many of our vital physiological functions. It promotes homeostasis, affecting everything from sleep, appetite, pain, inflammation, memory and mood. In more basic terms, the ECS helps to ensure that all major body systems work together. The ECS does this via cannabinoid receptors.

  • CB1 is in the central nervous system (brain and nerves of the spinal cord)
  • CB2 is in the peripheral nervous system (nerves in your extremities), the digestive system, and specialized cells in the immune system

If the ECS is dysfunctional or damaged, it’s believed that by supplementing the body with naturally occurring phytocannabinoids, we can relieve symptoms and restore health. The research into the endocannabinoid system and the potential health benefits of cannabinoids is an exciting and rapidly growing area of study – we’ll be keeping our ears and eyes open and will be sure to let you know when new information is available.

Can I give my pet CBD and PCR hemp oil products?

Yes! We have an Animal Health line that includes dog treats, tinctures and animal pellets. CBD can be beneficial to animals in much the same way as humans. Animals can be more sensitive to the effects of CBD.
